I’m still figuring out how to build this blog so bear with me. This is post #1, which covers from when we closed on the boat in Cape Coral to getting to Barber Marina near Lillian AL. About 500 miles, and we spent two weeks aboard making the trip. We made a few stops along the way to visit friends. Boat ran great and we quickly figured out the intricacies of living aboard. Cheryl is a real trooper, she had never even slept on a boat before and like a bucket of cold water over her head, all of a sudden she was aboard one for two weeks making a delivery! We did pick up a rope around the prop leaving Clearwater at 5 am, an hour out we had to turn back and hire a diver to cut it off for us. I dove in and tried but I couldn’t hold my breath long enough to make any progress. I had already made a youtube video as a place to post some photos, so here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-RXxAB9OTk
